The board is in the front of the room, and serves as the focal point for much of the teaching methods. It can serve as a void to stare into while delving into our own mind for ideas, or may have someone elses ideas written upon it. It contains old marks where previous innovation have not yet been erased from the physical world, and other spots where fingers and breath had touched it. It is large, white and rectangular, with aluminum lined edges and a lower shelf and cork row screwed to the top for hanging various ornaments of learning or pleasure. As one's attention is drawn to the board due to its largess and all-white coloration, one may see a contrasting black Poe figure dangling in the upper right corner. White ornaments reminiscent of Christas dangle from the cork row above the board. Markers, erasers, and other board- cleaning supplies adorn its lower shelf, and it is empty of all but the lights reflecting in it.
